There were congratulations on hand for Tredegar’s talented music students at rehearsal this week, after they had successfully completed their various end of term and end of degree course recitals at Birmingham Conservatoire and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

Top class

Brenden Caddy, Wilson Taylor and Ryan Richards all delivered top class recital programmes at Birmingham Conservatoire on demanding repertoire, whilst there were also excellent performances to report from Cardiff where Emily Humphries, Will Norman, Hannah Eve Rogers and Ben Stratford study.

We are very lucky to have such a talented group of  hard working students in the band. Their commitment to the band is second to none and the reports I’ve received on their recital performances have all been excellent - Ian Porthouse

Brenden, Will, Hannah and Ben have now completed their courses and will be looking at their future career options, whilst Wilson, Ryan and Emily have at last another year of hard studying and enjoyable student life to go.

Talent

MD Ian Porthouse said: “We are very lucky to have such a talented group of  hard working students in the band. Their commitment to the band is second to none and the reports I’ve received on their recital performances have all been excellent.”
